I just released Create 2.5.0, which resolves this issue. You’re correct: Shift + / is supposed to open a keyboard shortcut help dialog within Create, but it was accidentally trying to do that outside of Create as well.

Amazon ended their Product Advertising API (PA-API) last week, which means old credentials/API keys no longer work.

The good news is that they have a new system that Create supports called the Creators API.

Here is a guide for setting up the new credentials and getting them into Create!

Thanks again for the report, and sorry for the rough edge here. You’re right that the behavior changed.

In Create 1.x, a list item with only a title and description rendered as an inline section heading: no image placeholder, no link button, and it didn’t count as a number in numbered lists. A number of publishers used that pattern intentionally to break long lists into sections.

When we added image and link support to text-only items in 2.0, those legacy items got accidentally promoted to full list items, so they started rendering with an empty gray image box and bumping the numbering on every item below them.

We’ve just merged a fix that restores the original behavior: any text item with no image, link, or custom button text renders as a bare section heading again, exactly like it did in 1.x; no markup or styling change beyond that. Existing cards will fix themselves, nothing for you to migrate. We’ve also added an explicit “Show as title and description only” toggle in the editor so the intent is visible going forward.

The fix will ship in the next Create release. Thanks again for flagging it!

Hi @tyroleancutie, just wanted to check in now that I’ve released Create 2.0! I really hope you’ll give the upgrade a try. I’ve put many months of work into making Create an awesome experience again. There is a new Premium plan, but all of the previously-existing features (including nutrition calculation and product scraping), plus a bunch of new features, are still included at no charge!
