Issue Resolved. The culprit was Jetpack.
Also, I add new media via the original file URL. I don’t use the media library.
Is this an automated reply? Cause that’s exactly what I did. And it’s not working.
I deleted the folder for Google Tag Manager from my FTP. The plugin’s page in WordPress gave me the following message “The plugin simple-google-tag-manager/googletagmanager.php has been deactivated due to an error: Plugin file does not exist.” The message went away after the page was refreshed. Everything seems fine now.
Current version of WordPress 6.0.2.
