In reply to: [File Manager] “Unable to connect to backend.”Yes. Appears to be conflict with Gravity Forms for me. Gravity Forms says conflict is with the File Manager plugin. I have communicated what I could with developers. Fortunately it isn’t a form heavy website, but it would be nice to have it resolved.

In reply to: [File Manager] “Unable to connect to backend.”I can’t download the latest version of file manager pro, as the site didn’t recognize me as a user and when I registered using the email I purchased with, I don’t have options for download.

In reply to: [File Manager] “Unable to connect to backend.”This issue appears to occur after update to WP 4.6.1. I reverted back to a backup taken prior to an the update, and updated WP again, and got the error.
I am having the same issue. When you’re typing in the editor, you will notice a slow down from time to time that appears to get worse the longer the length of the post. At a certain point, editing a post becomes almost impossible. I went through and deactivated every other plugin, one by one, to determine if there was a conflict, and I found none. The only solution is to deactivate Yoast SEO.
