In reply to: [WooCommerce] Too many variations on a product?The issue is I still have to have the variations, so it doesn’t help. On top of that I would update the course content so often which would be impossible or troublesome with the said plugin. I have already setup woocommerce to do all that. The issue is that with too many variation it’s almost impossible to set it up. I’ve searched so many places and I can figure out to setup pricing for variations easily, but to assign file to a specific option, that’s not possible.
Again, a plugin that can assign files and prices to each option and it automatically sets them up on check out is needed.
Also, if someone can point out a plugin that I can bundle variable virtual downloadable products together, that’s great too. So, at least I could set them up as separate variable (digital) products and then add them together.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WooCommerce] customer didn't receive any emails after purchasingI would get the same thing but in my case I wouldn’t be notified not the customer. I tried to use an SMTP plugin to send email. maybe you can try that see if that helps.

In reply to: products with too many variations?Thank you James. The reason that I asked here was because it might have a broader viewers. Since I was also looking for an alternative, possibly a whole new e-commerce or a membership type plugin or anything that users might suggest. I thought it might be not nice to ask such a thing in their forum. but thank you again James for your suggestion. I’ll try that.
I’m still open to anyone with a new solution though…Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [MailPoet Newsletters (Previous)] Could not instantiate mail functionIf I was 5 when I posted that comment, I would’ve been graduated by the time I got your reply 😉
To be serious, I did manage to fix the issue myself. In case someone ran into the same issue as I did :
I used an SMTP plugin to handle the mails being sent from my website, that has nothing to do to make Mailpoet work, that is just to make sure that the mails are sent out from your website correctly if your host has disabled mail() function.
So that means choose SMTP under mail settings (In MailPoet) and ask your host for the details if you don’t already know that. (It is currently under settings, send with, 3rd party [eventhough you are using your website(host) mail service)
I’d suggest to the author to add that in the FAQ, so people know. In case your host doesn’t provide that you may use a free email service (Google it,
To not promote any specific service I won’t write any name here).
I’ll let this topic be open in case the author wants to add anything to it.(I’ll close it in a couple of days so people in search can find it as a resolved post)
Thank you MailPoet support for your reply and reminding me of this topic.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Authentication required for viewing a page!I did manage to solve it, and to any one that might run into the same issue;
I just deleted the page and created anew one, strangely it fixed the problem of permission requirement.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Authentication required for viewing a page!What I think is that setting file permissions through filezilla doesn’t work as my server is on a windows based system (maybe not relevant) .
I did read lots of articles on how to set permissions in plesk, but I’d appreciate anyone showing me by screenshot (probably) what to set for each folder/file . They are currently as they should be ( I believe), but still the page cannot be viewed by anyone.
