Thanks for the reply. I have the search function enabled but with no change in appearance. However, I found that if I uncheck the “User roles that can use search” and “user roles that can use Filters (making it available to all users) that the form fields show up. Must be a bug that causes the search function to disappear if they’re assigned to specific user roles. All is good for now.
Was this resolved? I’m having the same issue after upgrading and likewise tried adding the short cord, but no success. I did find that the “enable search function had been unchecked after the upgrade but even re-checking, and verifying my filter setting were the same, it didn’t help. Also tried adding the UM Search widget to the sidebar and it only shows the heading “Search Users” with no search fields below. The Search function seems to be missing from UM altogether.
