In reply to: [WP-SpamShield] Plugin breaks dashboardHi Scott,
Thanks a bunch for your help with this!I do run error logs on my site. It’s giving me tons of these:
2014-04-30 21:04:51.965 [NOTICE] [xx.xx.xx.xx:xxxxxxxxxxxx] [STDERR] PHP Warning: include() [function.include]: Failed opening ‘/chroot/home/XXXXX/XXXXXXXXXX/XXXX/includes/src/wpSpamShield.php’ for inclusion (include_path=’/chroot/home/XXXXXX/XXXXXX/XXXXX/includes/src:.:/usr/share/pear’) in /chroot/home/XXXXXX/XXXXXXX/XXXXXX/includes/src/Varien_Autoload.php on line 93
We are using WordPress V. 3.8.1
List of plugins:
Breadcrumb NavXT
Collapsing Archives
Quick Page/Post Redirect Plugin
WordbookAnother interesting quirk I noticed when pulling the plugin list: wp-spamshield doesn’t show up in the list of active plugins (or the ALL list for that matter). I can verify the plugin is installed as I can access the settings and it shows ” Installation Status: Installed Correctly”
It does not seem to happen with a default theme.
No hacking… the scan was clean.
We did recently modify our theme, but these dashed lines appeared after this happened.
Nope. It still shows when all plugins are deactivated.
Thanks for the quick reply!
Hmm… We don’t have magicline plugin installed. Any other thoughts?
We are working on upgrading our WP version. Unfortunately, the site was built with a custom e-commerce/wordpress integration that is no longer supported by its author. I’ve tried upgrading wordpress, but it breaks the e-commerce side.
