I came to report this exact issue. The last Jetpack update injected two subscription checks in my comments section between the comments text area and the Name/Email fields. Why?!

I truncated the table since I am not using the image optimizer. The table is now empty. The entries were from a scan.

Thanks for your reply, but spam prevention settings were never enabled, I see no use of them since I have Akismet installed. I am open to other solutions. Thanks!
