Thanks very much for your reply.
My goal had been to have each author limited to editing their own posts, but in the event of inappropriate comments, allow all Authors to pitch in and delete them. I thought doing this would allow such comments to be seen and, if necessary, dealt with quicker.
It would not be desirable for my site to prevent one author from seeing another’s posts.
Realizing the WordPress limitations, I think it would be easier to just assign the Editor role.
