Hello @narratorben
You are welcome. We will check the debug information and provide you with an update shortly.
All the best,
Hello @narratorben
We tested the issue on our side and the results are as follows:
- We tested the Custom Folders feature on WordPress 7.0, and image conversion works properly.
- After adding a directory as a Custom Folder, newly added images inside that directory are correctly detected and counted. For example, if the folder initially contains 11 images, the UI shows 11. After adding 2 more images and refreshing the page, the count updates to 13 correctly.
- We also tested adding a theme directory as a Custom Folder, and image conversion worked properly there as well.
At the moment, our testing results suggest the issue may be related to the specific server environment or certain site settings.
As the next step, we recommend trying the following:
- Create a new folder under
wp-content, upload some images into it, then add that folder using the Custom Folders feature and check whether the images are detected correctly and can be processed in batch conversion. - After running the batch process, please send us the debug package which you can find from the plugin’s System Info page to support(at)compressx.io, and our team will perform a deeper analysis.
Best regards,

Hello @keysuck
The upload function is working properly on our end. We suspect there may be an issue with js loading specific to your environment.
To help us investigate this further, could you please provide us with a debug zip and send it to support(at)compressx.com.? You can download this from the System Info tab within your CompressX plugin.
