I made the changes to functions.php and hooks.php line 175.
It returned the same error on another line number.

I can’t downgrade the php version from 7 to 5.6 on the server. Not only would it take a performance hit (php 7 is much faster than the predecessors), but it could cause problems with other control panels and other apps on the server.
I know enough php to blow up the webserver and that’s about it. So I guess I need to start looking for another theme. I’ll close the ticket at this time.
I just wanted to say thanks nobita for your timely responses and investigation of the issue. Raindrops is a great theme. I would highly recommend it.

I placed chmod 777 on the directory /var/www/html
I also gave the database user full admin permissions in MySQL.
There shouldn’t be any permission issues.

PHP 7.0.6
Apache 2.4.6
MySQL 5.6.30Vanilla install of apache, MySQL, php, wordpress.
Same results as the previous posts. Dark theme is all white.
I used view source on the webpage and saved as testvm.htm it in the same dropbox link.

In reply to: [raindrops] Theme does not show dark color typeThat’s what confusing. This is a straight install of raindrops theme(it was like that in the beginning). The only thing I removed in the theme was the header image (to see if it made a difference).
The rest was all vanilla. New database, new install of wordpress, and new install of raindrops.
I see all the cannot bind data, but I don’t have a clue as to why. Do you think it would be something with wordpress itself? Permissions?
The local test machine has no problems, but that is a bitnami build.
I’m going to spin up a virtual machine and see if I can reproduce it.
At this point I’m clueless.
