Thanks @jeroenrotty – the homepage is fine, actually. It was the blog posts that were confounding me. When sharing the blog to social media, the image *was* getting cropped…but (so far) it seems ok.
Regarding the link you sent –
<meta property="og:image" content="https://molsonpartners.com/wp-content/uploads/elementor/thumbs/head-transparentsm-ou0x96jl1d224k4aaodkthyq5mu9yggcn4rjh69i70.png"/>…I’m not sure why the homepage would be grabbing that particular image, but I’ll dig in there and see what I can find. I almost never share the homepage directly, so I’m not terribly concerned about it right now.
Wait…wait…wait…
I just created a new blog, share it, and the image is now fine. What the heck?
Hi @mikes41720
My homepage is static
@pcosta88 – thank you for your reply
1: Yes, I have version 14.7 (not premium, however)
2: Everything else is up to date, too
3: Yes – the Featured Image is set to 1000×400. The original is 2560×1024 and is under 500k

Original image in WP media browser: https://molsonpartners.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/theyhatemyad.jpg4: Manually adding the image does not appear to correct it (could it be a caching issue?)
Hi @priscillamc,
Thank you for your reply. I’m a bit confused now as the image listed in the og:image meta tag you note (and also came up in Facebook’s debugger tool) is not the featured image from the blog. The featured image is 1000×400 and the original is even larger.
Any idea why it’s grabbing that image?
