@gcode This is still happening for me (I have the same issue as g@abyimagely notes above). I took all the requested steps. The observed behavior is that, on “Manage Galleries” or on an individual gallery, the page flickers numerous times and eventually the request times out with a 414 request URL error. None of the requested steps have any logical reason for being root cause, so I’m assuming these are the basic first steps of troubleshooting (such as clearing your browser cache). At this point, it kind of needs someone to lean in from a technical perspective.
What’s happening is that the request URL is too long:

If you size a text editor just right, you’ll see each request parameter is nearly identical – photolite-pro/inc/widgets/admin/chosen-init.js/ver #D1.0.0&skipjs and the URL. The only difference between lines is the skip.js version.
Not sure what’s changed here that it’s broken for others (my site is just over a week old, and completely blocked by this issue), but without a fix it’s basically useless for me. I’ve tried 4 other galleries and none of them hold a candle to NexGen Gallery, so I’m really hoping to see this fixed.
The fix? Figure out what info is really truly needed to show the manage galleries or manage gallery pages, and strip the URL down to just that info, so it comes in under the max URL length. Share your code with me and I’ll figure it out, if you need me to.
