Regarding costs:
The WordPress Plugin itself is free. With that said, the SocketLabs service does have different free and paid plans, which are based on sending volume. We offer a 30 day trial for each plan. The lowest plan starts at $39.95/mo for 40,000 emails per month. We also have a free forever plan starting at 2,000 emails/month. So technically, if you send less than 2k emails/month then you will never have to pay for this plugin or service.
