Hi @serge00
That particular form doesn’t actually have an email field as it is just a search form with number, select and radio inputs. I have since re-done the form from scratch and not utilising gravity forms so that I could add my own field names and have added those to the field exclusions. Hopefully this will fix our issue of users getting blocked from submitting this search form. I will continue to monitor the spam filter to see if any more get blocked.Hi,
Thank you for your response. I am using gravity forms and unfortunately it seems they share field names. The field name is the field number within the form, so the first input added to each form has the name input_1 and the second input added has input_2 etc.
I will need to re-work that particular search form so that it either is built from scratch so that I can use my own names for the fields or look at hooking into gravity forms with a filter to change the names of all the fields.
It would be great if it could be added to a potential future plugin release to make it possible to exclude by form id to assist in situations like this.Hi, thanks for your quick response. I am not too sure about how to check if something is blocking that file, unless it is something to do with my hosting provider.
I disabled the ‘Use AJAX for JavaScript check’ and the error has now gone. However not sure if this will cause an issue as in the notes about this option it says to have this option turned on to avoid issues with caching plugins. Now my website doesn’t technically have a caching plugin, however the hosting provider has caching included at the server level. Will this lower the effectiveness of the antiSpam protection on the forms or cause issues elsewhere?Hi,
I tried reloading the page and it still shows as a favorite. I’m guessing it works differently for a signed in user vs an unsigned in user. With the signed in user the data gets saved to the wordpress database against the user profile, and if it is an unsigned user it adds/updates a cookie?
If that is the case, it appears that the update of the cookie is not working as it should be. It will add favorites to the cookie, but can’t seem to remove them from the cookie. I have tested this in Chrome, Firefox and Internet Explorer and they all have the same issue.I have currently had to remove the wishlist function from my website, but it would be greatly appreciated if it could be added as a bug fix so that I can add that functionality back in.
Thanks
Also I decided to test it to see if it was due to a theme or plugin conflict, so I created a fresh wordpress install with the Twenty Nineteen theme and installed just the Estatik plugin, and still it does the same thing for a non-signed in user – won’t un-favorite.
Hi @ultimatemembersupport
Thank you for your quick response.
I tried the conflict test on my staging site and I deactivated all plugins except Ultimate Member and activated the default Twenty Fifteen theme, however I am still having the issue.
Here is a link to the registration page. As it is my staging site it is behind a username and password which is:
