Hi, I have exactly the same problem after installing the plugin and trying to activate:

Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /var/www/html/wp-content/plugins/mad-mimi/mad-mimi.php on line 512

This is using WordPress 3.4.2 and Mad Mimi plugin 1.4.5.

I’ve tried installing via WordPress auto-install and manually with the same results.

I’ve glanced at mad-mimi.php and it looks OK, i.e., I can’t see an open statement or function, but I haven’t examined it in detail.
