Had same issue. Reverted back to 1.2.2 and works.

Solved. Reverted back to 1.2.2 and works now.

NP. Solved my issue.

Used Magic Fields, worked like a charm.

PS. I know I could just use the custom fields and later get the color from meta. But would be sweet if I would have a palette right there. Would be handy.
