As I was reading I notice some things that Ive seen before. I like to invite you to my site where we could talk about newschat.tv I think its lame that no one has replyed this may be a large problem but with some research we can crack the code. What do you think of adding buddypress to your site? Im pretty good at it. I know there like two other social plugins for wordpress out there as well but i have not tryed them at all. In reply to: Adding an element to my homepageI think I saw a plugin for this hmmm…. Look for a plugin on floating sidebars instead of using a script be my first move. Did you even do a search on plugin not on google but in your built in search on your admin system?

When I use a widget I use it as part of the site Im not streaming some score from some team that clearly looks like a widget they really have a meaning like a news letter. So If it could be made more available through out the site that be great. I now you may say a designer can do this but I think it should be part of wp. This would be great for static pages to.
All its doing is marking them spammers. I do have a plugin that let me log in as them. They cant do anything and for the most part user only see them through some plugins. My problem is having to delete them. some people say the only way to beat them is after they join. So maybe if we have a system that can auto delete them after they join could work? At least it can detect them. Maybe on the member list you can have the background turn red on spammer accounts?
I got an idea.
Problem: Bots are joining sites aka spam accounts.Idea: My idea for an anti spam plugin is a field random value system.
Concept: On your Registrar page you have fields each field has a value/field id that tells the site what the value/field id is but spam bots know what it is so they tell a bot what field means what and what to put in these fields. If we can some how use a system to show to the bot that the field is different the bot will then be stuck. The key is to always be different on every page load. So 4A25426RD could equal the name field but on the next load it could be OYZO4646M that equals name.A plus could be a way each site could make its own random sequence(a way to decide the next code)

In reply to: clear WordPress cacheI was trying to increase my sever upload max to 20mb from 2mb. I did the php.ini thing but the site still did not accept a 4.2mb file. So my host said it may be a wordpress cache or a plugin thing. Im using buddypress ablum pluggin and a forum uploaded pluggin and a group document upload pluggin and I need them all to accept higher then 2mb but they wont.
