I don’t think that going to work. If have 50 orders, I don’t know which are from orders that only have one item or an order that shipped multiple days
Also, if a tracking number is added, will an email be generated each time?
What if 2 tracking numbers are uploaded together, will the customer get 2 emails, the first with 1 tracking # and the 2nd with both tracking #s?But that’s not a great option either.
Say an order ships in multiple packages on different days.
Package 1 ships on Monday with tracking 12345. Customer receives an email with tracking.
Package 2 ships on Tuesday with tracking 67890 and I replace the old tracking. Customer will get a second email but with only the 2nd package. 1 was added already. The status still didn’t change. The way we have it set up is. when an order is finished processing the status changes from Processing to Completed. We wanted the status to then change to Shipped when the item ships and the tracking number is uploaded. However, it sees the status doesn’t change to Shipped unless we manually check the checkbox.
Why won’t the status change from Completed to Shipped when the spreadsheet is uploaded?
