Amazing how much more is possible there in terms of styling forms. For now I am very happy with that bit of css code to create the returns.

Problem solved. I checked the list of plugins once more and finally detected the Xpert Accordion plugin as the culprit. That plugin is not tested with current WP version.

hmmm … I deactivated all plugins recently installed – with no difference in the problem. Now, what will happen if I re-install /re-activate QTRANSLATE? With easily 20 pages of text, plus menus and widgets, all nicely translated German <> English? Would that be an option or will it destroy the content?
