I found the issue: if one image of my gallery has a title, then the slide does not show the descriptions of the slideshow. And 2nd prerequisite seems to be that all images need a description text.
I have deleted all Alt/Title, added missing descriptions and get the description now in the slideshow.
I now know how to use it, anyhow I believe this is a bug.

but anyhow I did exactly enable the options like in the recording.
But in our slideshow still it does not appear.
You can double check on http://www.wsv-speyer.de
Any more ideas how I can get back the description?
