I changed it to https:// just today to see if that was the problem but I originally had it on http://
Anyway, I changed it back to http:// after reading your reply and suddenly it loaded fine for twitter. Then I checked instagram and the link still lead me to my old homepage (this link is http:// still). So I thought if I tried changing it to https:// then back to http:// it would change it just like with twitter, and it did! So odd. Thanks for the help, Jackie! Probably a glitch…
