Thanks for your quick response.
With the mu-plugin active, the form only fails if the repeater count is higher than 1 (with Forminator 1.53 and later).
If the mu-plugin is disabled, the form submission always works correctly (but of course the repeater count is always 1 then, even if there are multiple instances of the field group).

That works well in the form: the HTML field contains the three desired input fields and can be hidden with CSS.
However, there’s a problem with the email notification: unlike the individual fields, {html-1-*} only returns the first instance of the HTML.

To my understanding, in the calculation, you need to add an asterisk (*) to each field in the repeating group :
{number-1-*}*2.5+{number-2-*}*5+{number-3-*}*27+{number-4-*}*30

I had a similar question some time ago, and the support team provided the following solution:
