Though now that the plugin supports custom post types I suppose I could just create a post type called “push notification” and use a plugin like https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/page-links-to/ to redirect the message to whatever page I want…
I think i might have just answered my own question. Haha

Well first off you can actually past any link to a video that is uploaded to youtube right into a WordPress post, and it will embed itself into the page.
You could then write a description or “transcript” bellow that which search bots could then crawl.
If you were wanting to actually “host” the videos e.g. upload them to your media library, then this would be a very matter. Hosting videos takes a massive amount of bandwith, so you would be spending thousands of $ a month if your site got even halfway popular.
It’s a much better solution to just let YouTube or Vimeo do the hosting for you and link them to your site.
