In reply to: Trying to find a plugin …You are correct … and I actually did all of that in my testing. But unless I’m missing something, I’m not sure you can auto update those segments with new subscribers, as well as, I’m not sure you can have MailChimp AUTOMATICALLY send out those emails at the frequency specified. Yes, I can send the emails out manually at the desired frequency – but I want it to be like that oven … Set it and forget it.

In reply to: Trying to find a plugin …I’ve done more and more searching and still haven’t found a plugin that will accomplish what I am looking for. MailChimp can almost do it, but it can’t send out an email/newsletter based on the frequency that the user specifies.

I haven’t even found a site that can do this, let alone a wordpress plugin/widget. I’d be fine with linking to a site that the user fills out to remind them – but no luck.
Any suggestions would help, or if you’re interested in either creating this or helping me create it, I’d appreciate it.

In reply to: Trying to find a plugin …Both of those require accounts on different sites. MailChimp has a free option – but we’re going to have over 500 members and over 3,000 emails sent/month.
Even then, I signed up for a free MailChimp account and couldn’t see where the user could set how frequently they receive the emails.
Anyone else have other suggestions?
