davydov. i’m sure that could be made to work…with LOTS of mad js skills. With the rise of the slideshow (as content, not just for pics), i still can’t believe someone hasn’t made a plugin to handle it.
Sure haven’t zimka. I haven’t been able to figure out anything CLOSE to mashable’s slideshow….unfortunately. Have you?

Hey idaniels, thanks for your response. unfortunately, none of those fixes worked. 🙁 I use Role Scoper (and its NGG extension) and wouldn’t consider switching since the Capability Manager linked from the NGG Roles page is only compatible up to 2.9.2. (WTF?!)
All role levels are set to administrator, but when i try to switch the gallery author, all i see are a list of my other contributors (who consequently all have the “author” role…not sure if that matters).
Any other ideas?

As for the post IDs not working, no the posts are not sticky. I’m using the post ID found in the url when editing the post. Is that the correct one?
