Okay, I’m now having a little better luck.

I looked for rss_ entries in the that table, and I didn’t see any. So I started trying some other things.

For my website/server I use the No-IP service for dynamic DNS.

So for example, I have domain.com. http://www.domain.com is redirected to domain.com.

If I go to http://www.domain.com/blog/wp-admin/index.php the login sits there forever.

If I go to http://domain.com/blog/wp-admin/index.php the login works correctly, and I go right to the dashboard.

I’m still have some other issues, such as I can add comments but they never really make it in the db.

If I come in with a new browser, I don’t see the comments are back to (0).

I’ve tried reload/refresh/restart/switch browsers.

Also waiting for the new post page to come up, also seems to take forever. My server is a 2.8ghz P4, so it should be able to dish the page back quickly.

If I get any further I’ll drop another reply.

No go for me. Mine just hangs until the browser times out in (~5 minutes).

I have no problem modifying code since I do it all day, but since I’m new to WordPress, I refuse to delete code that should work properly. Plus I’m not seeing anything strange in the web server error log.

If its a bug, I wish someone would say so. 🙁

I’m glad I’m not going crazy.

I removed the databases and tables and started over. Still no luck 🙁 WordPress does support MySQL 5 right?
