Further note to the issue I just posted: Both this version and the previous version of NivoSlider worked without any changes on my local machine. Even after changes, it still works on localhost. Problem is with Godaddy, and maybe with other online hosts. But, the permissions for the folder do not seem to matter. Where else should I look?

Thanks, Ben. At least I was able to fix the incorrect folder destination. But, whether I change the code for the permissions — or not (and make the permissions 777), I still cannot upload. This used to work at one time, though I don’t remember which version of Nivo Slider I was using when I first set up the slideshow. The odd thing is it works on my local machine, but not on Godaddy’s server.

I suspect the 2.4.3 upgrade had broken it. Some people can use it, and send mail without an error; suddenly I cannot send mail, nor can some others. Some of my site’s users have no trouble at all using the form. It’s totally unpredictable now – and I have tried many fixes. Removed form from site temporarily, while I glue back the hair I pulled out 🙂
