I did send a question about securing that icon to Rafflecopter support. It’ll be interesting to see what they say. Meanwhile I manually updated the rafflecopter link in HTML for each post where a rafflecopter is embedded. That seemed to do the trick! I’m now fully secure!

No, but maybe I copied the code wrong. I have several button/image widgets and they all work fine.

It’s a button for a conference I will be attending. I can try remaking it, or I’ll leave it out. So it isn’t anything wrong with the cache plugin then? WP Super Cache is okay to use?
Yikes! When I put the widget back, my problem returns even with the cache plugin deactivated. Okay, I will further demonstrate my ignorance of web design techie stuff: what does this mean?

I’ve cleared the cache from WP Super Cache, deactivated it, and removed the last widget in my sidebar, and my copyright/theme/social icons are finally back where they should be.
So how long do I need to wait before I can safely reactivate/reinstate everything as it was?
I’m sorry, I’m not very good at this. I know I have WP Super Cache. How do I clear it?

In reply to: Latest post showing up on home page not at specific linkThank you for checking, but I believe it was because I had lines embedded in the post. Every time I add those in, there is an issue. I just reposted without embedded lines. That’s why it is now working.

I solved the problem for now. It seems it had something to do with the Ultimate TinyMCE plugin. Once I deactivated that plugin and all the lingering special characters in my original post, I was able to publish with working links.
I will be looking for an enhanced visual editor to replace that one. I do miss the capability.
Time problem has been fixed–my error. And error 404 has disappeared.
But I’m still only getting my Title, share buttons and related posts, no body text. I’m continued to play with permalinks.
Update: I tried to change and save my permalink preference several times, with no positive results, except now I get a 404 error when the link is clicked, even after updating.
Also, I’m unsure if this is related, but now visual editor says I last edited my post at a time 5 hours in the future?!
Any and all help is appreciated.
