In reply to: [Atahualpa] atahualpa theme options frozenTodd,
sure you could edit the css.php, but don’t forget you have the css override section in the theme. Just keep good notes incase you (or someone else) need to do something else in the future.Flynn (the author of the theme) is looking at updating the theme so it will work with wordpress without any hacks. This will not have any new features, it’s meant to bring the code up to date so it won’t need things like the jquery migration helper plugin. If it is done, it will be sometime after the start of the new year.

In reply to: [Atahualpa] atahualpa theme options frozen@billlongstaff sorry I don’t know of a replacement as good as Atahualpa. I have mostly given up on wordpress except for a few exceptions.
@scmittal – have you checked the sites Discuession settings? (Settings->Discuession) I don’t think this is an Atahualpa issue.

In reply to: [Atahualpa] atahualpa theme options frozenYou can install the plugin Enable jQuery Migrate Helper which will help in the short term but I would suggest you start planning a transistion to another theme.
FYI – I’m the one who has been doing support and maintnance on Atahualpa for the past 10 years.

In reply to: WP 5.0 Still not ready for prime timeYou know, the fact that there has to be an an official plugin to disable Gutenburg and that it has been downloaded almost 3 million times should be an indicator to the WordPress developer team that maybe Gutenburg is not something the users want.
While I’m sure a lot of work and effort has been poured into it, some products/ideas don’t meet the needs of the customers/users and have to be abandoned. Remember ‘New’ Coke?

In reply to: How do you update to 4.9.9 and NOT 5.0.1@detoris You should go read about the possible options and make an informed decision about how you want to set that option.

In reply to: How do you update to 4.9.9 and NOT 5.0.1I haven’t tried this yet, but if you have
define( ‘WP_AUTO_UPDATE_CORE’, minor );
in your wp-config.php, it should only do the minor update i.e. to 4.9.9Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: How do you update to 4.9.9 and NOT 5.0.1You can grab any prior version at https://ww.wp.xz.cn/download/releases/
Atahualpa is working fine for me. I just created a gallery using NG version 2.1.62 and then upgraded to version 2.2.54 and the gallery displays fine and the slideshow works.
@bcplus – I suggest you try disabling your other plugins to see if it is a plugin conflict.

In reply to: [WP Recipe Maker] Print does not work if permalinks are set to ‘Plain’No plugins but this one, twenty-sixteen, cache cleared problem still occurs in Safari, FireFox and Chrome.
I’m not going to worry about it since it works with pretty permalink.

In reply to: [WP Recipe Maker] Print does not work if permalinks are set to ‘Plain’Nope, doesn’t work for me. If I change the permalinks to something other than plain it works but once I change them back to plain it fails. The usi is this format

In reply to: [Montezuma] AMP, https, and Montezuma… How do I set icons?Start by disabling ALL your plugins and test. That will determine if it is a plugin issue. If it is, add a couple in at a time and test till you find the culprit.
If it is not, then temporally swap to one of the twenty-xxxxx themes and test again. This will tell you if it is a theme issue.
If you don’t want to mess with your ‘production’ site, then you should do this on your ‘play/testing’ site (you do have one…don’t you?)
If you don’t that should be your first goal – create a duplicate of your production and make it a pay site that you can try all updates and changes on before putting them into production)

In reply to: [Atahualpa] Where is Menu 2 located at?The original design of theme supported two menus: a pages menu and a category menu. They would automatically add all your pages to one menu and all your categories to the other. They can be added to the header area of a page by going to the dashboard->Appearances->Atahualpa Theme Options->Style & edit HEADER AREA->Configure Header Area and adding &pages and/or &cats where you want it.
With the advent of WordPress custom menus, you can now create custom menues and when you assign a menu to location ‘menu1’ it will equate to the ‘%pages’ option and menu location ‘menu2’ will equate to the ‘%cats’ option.
I hope this answers your question.
NOT a Bug
Ok, I had a thought and swapped from teh Builder child theme to teh Builder theme and the FAQ works fine. This means it is something the theme developer put in the child builder theme. I’ll just have to dig into that.
Thank you for your help, this can be marked resolved.
The theme is a premimum theme – Builder by iThemes (https://ithemes.com/find/themes/)
