I was a little bit intimidated by your suggestion, since you made the layout almost perfect. I tried a bold move, I deleted the 4 lines of clearfix found in the plugin CSS and that fixed it completely!

I have the work in progress version of my clansite running here:

As soon as I disable the plugin, the website is full-width again.
