    Hi Steve,

    Should I delete it in a file manager in cpanel? Since I cannot log in to the WordPress admin to our site.

    If so, please tell me the process.

    Updated what? all the plugins

    How? updated by clicking the update button in wordpress dashboard

    Delete what? This is from your first post “delete the directory wp-content/plugins/backwpup, then reinstall the plugin.?

    What happens? right after I update all the plug ins, then the “Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘$value’ (T_VARIABLE) in /home2/sulrah/public_html/uppn.com/wp-content/plugins/backwpup/vendor/aws/aws-sdk-php/src/functions.php on line 36” occurs.

    Hello Steve,
    I updated it via our hosting manager. We have just installed a wordpress there. How can I delete it? Another thing is I can no longer log in to our admin panel?

    Ppease help. Badly need it to make ot live again.
