In reply to: [Simple Shopping Cart] Using WP Super CacheFurther information:
My website is currently set up with the WP Super Cache settings as you have advised with the option “Disable caching for logged on visitors”. With this setting, the shopping cart only works properly when logged into WP Admin. When not logged in it does not work correctly. You can try for yourself as I have left the settings as per your recommendation.
However, I have tested other options and found that using the setting “Disable caching for visitors who have a cookie set in their browser” the cart works correctly.

In reply to: [Simple Shopping Cart] Using WP Super CacheOK my bad but can you at least look at what was in it as it took me 30 minutes to write?
The bottom line is I think your instructions are incorrect and all of the details why are in the other (now archived) thread. Please test my site: https://www.oldkingstonianshull.org.uk/souvenir-shop/ and you will see the shopping cart does not work correctly. The problem is related to cookies and the settings you have suggested are not correct.

In reply to: [Simple Shopping Cart] Using WP Super CachePlease see my new thread about this.
Yes I am using v 5.1.2. This is my Buyer Email Body:
Dear {first_name} {last_name}
Order Date: {purchase_date}
Order Number: {order_id}
Total Order Cost: {purchase_amt}Thank you for your purchase from the OKA Shop!
You have ordered the following item(s):{product_details}
These will be sent out to you soon to the following address:
{address}
Kind Regards,
OKA TreasurerThis is my Seller Email Body:
Dear OKA Treasurer
Order No: {order_id}
Date: {purchase_date}This mail is to notify you of a purchase made from the OKA Online Shop. The following items have been ordered:
{product_details}
Total Order Value: {purchase_amt}
The sale was made to:
{first_name} {last_name}
({payer_email})
{address}Thank You
So as you can see I am collecting the product_details correctly and always have been. I have a number of orders where everything worked fine, it is just the two recent ones where the product_details did not get recorded correctly.
However, this was using the “Standard PayPal” option. I have now (yesterday) changed to the “PayPal PPCP (new)” option in the expectation that this will work properly.
My concern is that if the Standard PayPal option no longer functions correctly and is not recommended, then why not remove this option from your plugin?

In reply to: [Redirection for Contact Form 7] Redirecting to Wrong PageI am 100% confident that I set it up correctly.
Yes – of course I used separate pages for the redirect other wise I would not have reported this as a problem.
I can’t send you any screenshots because, having spent too much time trying to get this to work, I have not deactivate your plugin and installed something else that works perfectly.
Resolved
Brilliant – that works great. Thank you for your help!
Well firstly I’m no expert!!!!
This is what I would try:
- Using a staging system or a localhost copy change to another trusted theme such as Twenty Twenty.
- Delete the TUT theme completely.
- Download the latest version of the TUT theme.
- Install and activate it and see if this clears the problem.
If you can’t use a staging system or localhost – TAKE A SECURE BACK UP FIRST!!
I definitely had a plugin called something like “Page Builder for Think Up Themes” and removed it.
Do you have access to your WordPress files? Check the wp-content/Plugins folder and see if the TUT plugin is still there? I believe it is in a folder called “thinkup-panels”.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Event date keeps reverting to creation dateI have this problem. Any edits revert to the current date. See:
https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/recurring-events-unusable/
I also have this problem and others have reported it as well.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Event date keeps reverting to creation dateI have this problem as well. The new version 6 with so called “enhanced recurring events” is simply creating more problems and more work.
Agreed – the 1.8.7 release has not fixed the problem and Wordfence flagging the vulnerability again. I have several sites affected.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] The Events Calendar Conflict with 10Web Photo GalleryUpdate:
I have resolved this issue. I had another website with the same plugin/theme combination. This was using a different EC template. I changed this on the problem site and now working. For info: I changed the EC Display option to “Default Events Template”
