After a while of messing with it and thinking about it I figured that was the case. Makes sense making the alerts static for accessibility purposes. Just gotta rethink my approach now. Not quite sure if I wanna keep the default static alerts and adjust my design or change it back to the floating tip like I had it. Decisions, decisions…

Again, any help would be much appreciated. I also posted this same question on stackoverflow with a bit more detail of what each file looks like if that would help.
