    Ahhhhhhh, ok, thanks, the dim light is beginning to dawn. I just figured the ‘xmlrpc’ file was like a ‘front door’ to my blog or something like that. Cheers and many thanks for taking your time to answer and help out, I really appreciate it – Doug

    Hi again,
    No worries at all. Just to ‘prove’ how stoopid I actually am, I already did have the sitemap generator installed, and it was working ok (or says it is…) so now I’m still wondering just why the ‘301’ thing appears at all? I guess if it’s nothing to worry about, then all is fine – but I kinda figure that it should be saying something like ‘HTTP/1.1 200 OK’?

    It’s not ‘just’ to get seo listings (though it helps ….) but basically if anything is actually broken and may need fixing before something else goes wrong etc. Hope I make sense …

    Whooops, sorry about the image that is in my header! I just didn’t stop to think ,,,
    Hi, many thanks indeed for taking the time and for helping me out – I just didn’t know if I had ‘broken’ something unwittingly. I’ll take your advice and install the sitemap plug-in and I’ll alter my image too!
