Thanks Mike. I was testing on version 0.5.2. I just upgraded to 0.5.4 and now the cpts are listed in the drop down in wp-tiles admin and output correctly on the site. Issue resolved. Thanks for taking care of this. Best.

Figured it out. The style was on the a tag, not slide-title.
.responsive-slider.flexslider .slide-title a {
left: 0;
bottom: 0;
}

Problem solved. There was a conflict with a custom built plugin. For some reason the plugin was causing the loop to run twice. Deactivated the plugin and the duplicate content went away.
