Hello, I am having the same issues with the sliding door theme for my website: http://www.easterncoyoteresearch.com. The new version of WordPress (5.9 incl. 5.9.2) has caused major issues including:
1. Not saving properly when I save on Block format… so I switched to classic editor to fix that.
2. It does not allow me to update an image as a widget or just into my website in general.
3. It doesn’t allow me to organize the menu. The screen just goes blank when I try to add to it.
This is frustrating as I love SlidingDoor and don’t want to have to leave this Theme. Thanks in advance.

So, in general it does not handle pictures for some reason. I can’t upload them.
