In reply to: [Polylang] after polylang and other updates home page permalink has changedI checked my slug for that page, somehow the fr got in there! I removed it and updated and all is well now. Strange, as I had not used quick edit mode up to that point, but at least I will take a look at this in future. Also odd is that when I went back into quick edit mode again the slug had the fr there again so I had to remove again.

the solution was to uncheck Custom fields in polylang settings/Synchronization/

I have confirmed that the conflict is with Page Builder by SiteOrigin, SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle and polylang plugin. Adding content in html or Black Studio TinyMCE Widget (visual) allows for bilingual pages with no overwriting issue.
