Hello, there is a little update on the versioning inconsistences of this plugin … I have updated the post.

Hello again … we need to clarify this as it is really messy! …
This plugin is not consistent once it comes to the versioning … there are 2-3 places with differnt version info:
– Arne’s web pages
– the readme.txt file
– the sitemap.php file (this is then visible in the admin pages)
Now how does it fit to our case
– on Arne’s web pages there is just 3.0.1 as the latest version available
– once you download the package inside there is actually 3.0.1 mentioned in the readme.txt but in sitemap.php it is 3.0.2 (you can see this version number once you install in the admin section of your WP)

My post refers to a version number that is visible in the admin pages and is 3.0.1 … not the latest version that is available

ad StackError – your version must have been 3.0.2 and you are right the code is different in this new version (but referred as 3.0.1 on Arne’s pages) and as reported by other users it works without a need to tweak it …

I will update my post with this info …

In this post, I described a workaround that seems to work for me.
