I disabled Perfmatters and WP Rocket as a test.

It will still only display the first calendar.

I swapped the two calendars (to eliminate the different calendars or the shortcodes being the cause). And it is only the first calendar on the page that shows, while the second calendar is stuck on loading.

    Thanks, Adam. Makes sense.

I changed the type to ‘url’, but now get an error message when editing on the front end.

    Hi Adam
I think I have it figured out.

I added a custom field by following the tutorial I mentioned above.

This field is for a Soundcloud profile url.

When I enter a url (http://www.soundcloud.com/usernamehere) in this field, the data does not save on the front end edit listing page.

When I enter text in the field (usernamehere), it saves without any issues.

Can you look at the code mentioned in the tutorial, and let me know if there are any changes I must make to enable the saving of a url in a custom field?

    Hi Adam
Job posters can not edit their listings on the front end at the moment.

I deactivated all the plugins, except for WP Job Manager, and I still could not edit the listing successfully from the front end.

I installed the theme with the plugin on a different host. And it worked fine there.

This got me thinking about what the differences are between the two installations.

I then realized that I followed this tutorial (https://wpjobmanager.com/document/tutorial-adding-a-salary-field-for-jobs) to add 2 custom fields to my directory.

When I removed this code, the edit listing worked fine from the front end.

Can you confirm that the tutorial above is still following all the best practices for adding a custom field?

    Hi Adam
Thanks for getting back to me.

While I plan on using a cache plugin going forward, I don’t have one installed right now as I am still testing a theme (Listify) and your plugin.

I have sent a support ticket to my host to check if they have some sort of caching which might play a role. I have a number of other sites with this host, and haven’t had similar issues before.

    Any other ideas?

    Hi Adam
Thanks for getting back to me.

I think my initial post wasn’t very clear.

    Here is the situation:
When I join as a new user, I can add a new listing to my site.

When I then try to edit the listing from the edit listing page, it looks like the edit worked just fine. But when I browse to the listing, none of the fields were updated.

This is the page that is not working for updates\edits:
    http://domainnamehere.com/my-account/listings/?action=edit&job_id=885

The “backend” I was talking about, was the edit listing within the WordPress dashboard where an admin can edit any listing. That is working perfectly for edits\updates at the moment.

This is the page I referred to as the “backend”:
    http://domainnamehere.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=885&action=edit

This means that administrators can edit\update listings, but normal users can’t update\edit their listings.

I hope that makes more sense.
