these things depend on the theme
ok didn’t know this. thought this would be simpler…
the existing menu might be pages: then usually any new added page will appear automatically in the menu;
the existing menu might be categories: then usually any new added category will appear automatically in the menu;
thought it would be this simple but no, creating new pages or categories do not result in new tabs.

well i do not want to publish anything before figuring out this question. and this question is not only relevant to this particular theme but in general in modifying a chosen theme!
