Thank you! It seems like it’s a problem with the default settings my host has. It’s their default installation of WP that puts media on its own server, and if I understand it correctly after googling, it’s a server side thing. The error message is
Access to Image at 'http://media.digikollo.se/ultimatemember/temp/pLksuBFyb5RROIeqP45F87YseBsNuES9f6CUtVUu/stream_photo_c89b6739e4da8d7648fa69ed32b32bbf_59413a2412cea.jpg' from origin 'http://digikollo.se' has been blocked by CORS policy: No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource. Origin 'http://digikollo.se' is therefore not allowed access.I tried fixing this with .htaccess but that didn’t seem to make any difference so I’ve e-mailed second line support at my host to get it fixed. If you have any further tips regarding this, please let me know.
Hi, thanks for the quick response! I just did the conflict test, but it didn’t change anything. I still don’t get an error message when uploading, but neither does the profile photo nor cover photo get updated. There’s a temp directory on the media server (media.digikollo.se/ultimatemember/temp/) that seems to contain folders with the photos I’ve attempted to upload, but other than that they’re not showing up.
