Thank you. Turns out the tutorial I was using was too old. It told me to enter local as the host for the database user instead of localhost. I fixed it and it works fine now.

Yes, thank you. I can’t switch between visual and text or it will change around all of the code. I saved the page and previewed it without going to the visual tab and it worked fine.
