I turned on the “All anonymous users will be checked for spam if they add a new item to their shopping cart.” again and it seems to have fixed the problem. I did submit a support ticket as @usr1 suggested with more detailed information. So I will wait to hear back from there. Thank you.

Sorry I should add I have Sequential Order Numbers for WooCommerce installed so numbers should be sequential. They are in order but there are some missing. I only recently turned off the “All anonymous users will be checked for spam if they add a new item to their shopping cart.” setting. So I was checking if this could have caused the issue. Thanks.

I can confirm that both issues have been resolved. The shop page is showing categories correctly and I was able to set solar packages as a top level category and it is not showing up as it has no active products. Thank you very much for your help.

Clearing those didn’t help. For now though I have moved the solar packages category under the parent category of solar panels. It then does not show there, so that will work for now. Thank you for your help.

A category that should be hidden because it does not have any active products (only hidden ones) in it is now showing. I temporarily added an active product to the parent category to test if that was working on the shop page (category Solar Packages). I then removed the product from this category. It has reverted on the shop page (not showing) but on my home page it is now visible. Any ideas how I can fix this? Thank you.

I tested as you suggested and it does show up if I have a product in that direct categorgy.

I am using Woodmart also and had the same problem.

They say please replace this contact form element or shortcode with our theme’s special element for this. It should fix the problem.
