It worked for some time & again stopped working. I tried deactivating all plugins one by one . Didn’t work.
Finally What I did was:
Deactivate & delete Meow gallery & lightbox plugins.
Delete all entries by name mwl & mgl from database table.
Install meow gallery & lightbox again
It worked perfectly well !

Hello @neukamp I had the exact same problem. Searched a lot & finally landed on your solution. Thanks a lot. Added .mgl-gallery to selector.
@tigroumeow .mgl-gallery was missing from the default list of selectors in my install.
