    OMG I didn’t change anything, but now it’s working. Went to bed last night with it broken, woke up it still didn’t work, took the kids to school and now it works.
    Beats me, but I’m not gonna question it or touch the backend again.
    Thanks again.

    Thanks everyone for your quick responses.
    @lyle
    I started the install process,
    the install process for wordpress in godaddy creates a database, it generates a password and user name, I did write it down,
    I assume the config was set up correctly because when I looked at it, it had the same user name and password that godaddys wordpress created when I did the install, I edited it through the file manager on godaddy, it didnt work so I used filezilla to upload an edited version it still didn’t work.

    @keith
    When I follow the path you sent me it says to use localpath when I click on linux cpanel instructions.
    I used the one click installer, it didn’t work, I hit the reset in godaddy and uploaded wordpress via ftp, it didn’t work.

    I’m so confused, I know it has to be something simple.
    When I first installed wordpress on godaddy, it worked, but it made my url point to colorfultreats.com/wordpress1 (because that’s how it was configuredt through network solutions) and I didn’t want that so that’s when I deleted everything, did a reset on godaddy and started over.
    Is my account still somehow pointing to .com/wordpress1 ?? I tried putting everything back in the wordpress1 folder but even that didn’t work.
    ARGH!
    Thanks in advance for any help
