Thank you all for all of your suggestions! I was able to figure out which plugin it by using the suggestions.
It is Jetpack Post Views Settings. I was looking and I do not have a ‘Jetpack Stats’ installed which is now a paid plugin so I’m wondering if this stopped working when the plugin became paid and then I uninstalled because the plugin didn’t have any data.
I’ll reach out to Jetpack to see if my guess on what happened is correct. Thanks!
i am aware that WordPress doesn’t have a post views counter on its own which is why I’m looking for which plugin I’m having an issue with.
I highly doubt that this has anything to do with my theme. The theme is just the shell of the website and was here long before the post counter issue started.
Does anyone have any ideas? Or, does anyone remember which post views counters were used a decade ago? It’s possible I’ve removed it on accident but the old data is still showing up.
I got this fixed. I just upped my GB by a couple hundred and it worked. I have now mapped my subscribers over.
Now I need to switch the domain. I have to un-map this on wordpress.com first right? Then redirect the servers after an hour or so? And then wait a few hours/days to have it all mapped to the new site?
And in that time, how can I have my followers reach my blog at my wordpress? Is there a way to redirect back to http://keepitsimple.wordpress.com?
Thanks for the quick response. The Jetpack plugin brings up a 404 page whenever I try to access the admin dashboard and site. I’ve checked my memory which is at 62GB which I would imagine would be plenty.
Thanks. I had someone else fix it for me. They did part of what was above and there was another step that needed to be fixed. I did change the url at one point but I changed it back and saved and it worked fine while I was on it for hours after. Anyways, all is good now.
