I’m just a small blog, I don’t have a staging site.
Hi, no those scripts are there because, like I said in my original comment, I had to edit the single.php file in order for them to stick. If I used the “Enter HTML in Head” they wouldn’t show on the website. That’s a problem if you update the plugin, as it’ll replace that single.php file and remove my scripts.
Here are screenshots of me adding the text “-this is a test-” and “-blank space-” into there. That text will show in the source. However, if I also add the scripts in between them in that box, you can see in the source it’s just adding blank spaces. It’s not carrying over the scripts.

Yeah, I was adding these three:
<script async custom-element="amp-analytics" src="https://cdn.ampproject.org/v0/amp-analytics-0.1.js"></script> <script async custom-element="amp-geo" src="https://cdn.ampproject.org/v0/amp-geo-0.1.js"></script> <script async custom-element="amp-consent" src="https://cdn.ampproject.org/v0/amp-consent-0.1.js"></script>https://www.droid-life.com/2023/08/29/google-kills-pixel-pass-subscription-service/amp/
Hi, that wasn’t my problem. My problem is that after updating to 4.0.3, every time I try to access the settings page, I get a “http 500 error.” There doesn’t appear to have been an update as I’m still seeing that version on my site.
Hi Ahmed – I was not able to get it working. I’m not developer and mostly just dabble in this stuff when I have a few minutes. I think this is over my head after attempting to use the hooks a few times.
Ok, this is a good resource. I’m no developer, but I’ll take a look and give it a shot. Thank you.

In reply to: [AMP] Add “View Non-Amp” version link within postRight, I’m aware of the the footer switcher, but I really want to add something within each post to make it more obvious and easier for readers to be able to make the switch.
Here’s the site.

In reply to: [WP-Sweep] Deleted all of my categories and tags? What the?Hi you can delete this. I think I figured out what happened. Apologies.
Same for me. First set of updates a day or so ago did slowed everything in the dashboard down, but deactivating the SEO News plugin seemed to fix it. Now today, with that plugin still deactivated, an update to Yoast Premium slowed everything.
That said, turning off Readability does seem to have sped things back up. Just FYI.
