New information after further investigation:
This appears to only occur for one tag. Other tags can be removed and the contact is saved without issue.
It is a product tag which is assigned to the Contact by Woosync with the “Tag Contact: Tick to tag your contact with their item name” setting – but there are also several contacts to which I have applied the tag manually. The tag is not removable when editing a contact regardless of whether it was applied automatically by Woosync or manually. However, the tag CAN be removed by using Bulk Actions > Remove Tag(s) from the Contacts list page.
Deactivating plugins does not resolve issue.
No relevant PHP or Javascript errors.Updated to 5.4.2 and the issue persists.

Times looked like they were 5 minute increments earlier, but now seem to be kind of random between 1 and 5 minutes. Happens on manual woosync, and every 1-5 minutes. My activity log: https://ibb.co/2SxH6WW
Looking forward to the fix. Thanks.
I have the exact same issue with duplicate customer notes every five minutes (woosync).
I see that the plugin has been updated in the past day. Is this fix included in the update? If not, can this be made a high priority?
It is a big problem that we can not sort contacts by the true date added. It seems that displaying the correct date a customer is added is an essential function of a CRM.Jetpack CRM version 5.2.0
WC 6.9.3
WC Subscriptions 4.5.1Disabling plugins did not change the behavior.
No relevant errors in logs.
No JS errors. For non-subscription orders the Added date is correct. It is the date of purchase which is also the date the contact is added.
For subscription products, the initial purchase sets the Added date like a non-subscription product. The problem is that when a recurring payment on a subscription happens, the Contact’s Added date is changed to the date of the most recent payment. That is incorrect since it is not a new contact, but an additional transaction for an existing contact.
Thank you.
I got the same warnings about %%category%% and %%tag%% and their respective description variables on a bunch of different sites.
Changing them to %%term_title%% and %%term_description%% seems to resolve the issue, but is a huge pain in the rear to do on a lot of sites that are set up with the old variables. If Category & Tag variables are going to be deprecated, it would have been nice to have a head-up or some way of automatically updating to Term variables.
Same problem at http://kercommunications.com/blog/. Still nothing from the developer?!
Turns out that it was the Default Banned List. When I removed the manually added IPs, the problem persisted. When I disabled the Default List, OpenGraph stuff started working again.
Same here. It seems like it is blocking OpenGraph for Facebook, LinkedIn and Google+
Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Plugin: SEO by Yoast] Open Graph not working with FacebookME TOO
OpenGraph meta is not working for me on FB, G+ or LinkedIn. I just get the title, link and thumbnail. No description, and sometimes not the specified thumbnail. The search engines don’t use keyword meta tags. I think Joost says it is a total waste of time, but there are a few places like some social bookmarking sites that may still pull data from the keyword meta tag. That is a very small reason to use them, but it does only take a few seconds to add them if you are worried about it. If nothing else, it will keep people who don’t know any better from telling you “you need SEO – you don’t even have keywords!”, which is total hogwash.
The reason the search engines stopped using the keyword meta tag years ago is because people abused it by putting dozens of irrelevant keywords in there which made it useless for the search engines. So if you do decide to use the keyword meta tag, make sure you do it right – be sure that they are absolutely relevant to the post (not your favorite keywords for the whole site), and use only a few (no more than maybe 8-10).
If you are in doubt about what is the “right” way to use them, then do not use them at all to be safe.See this post for the same problem: http://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/plugin-wordpress-seo-by-yoast-wrong-descriptions-in-google-serp’s
To make a long story short, Google does not always show the exact meta description, but will try to show the portion of the page that has the search term in it.
