Forum: Plugins
In reply to: Is there a Plugin to Display Recent Post Headers/Summay Like SlidshowYes, that’s not too bad, it looks like it would do the task! I’ll try it, but I am still learning, just up from novice 🙂 Hopefully, someone will convert this over to an easy to install Plug-in. I have been able to do lot’s more than I ever thought with Widgets, and King Widgets parsing php etc…
Thanks!
Thanks!
Wow, that is an eye opener! Looks like I may have to learn way more than I thought!!
Well your suggestion seems to be right on and logical, but it did not change it or resolve it. I tried it many times, reloaded the pages. Hmmmm, it has kept me puzzled for hours now.
The Theme author suggested putting in some width restriction in the style.css under where he has it designated /* comment styles */ but all the code there seems related to the comments pop-up. I tried like ‘width: 350px; and maxwidth and width= and nothing so far.
I’ll go look at a few other style.css and comment.php files in other themes to compare and see, plus I will look into those issues raised by the validator check!
Any other ideas?
Thanks again!!
OK, I will try it again. Maybe I need to Update the Permlink Structure? If I get the same issue I’ll put up a post in about 30 mins and if I get it to work I’ll post the issue is resolved.
Thanks Denis!!!
Hi moshu,
Sorry about that. OK I changed the setting so that you don’t have to register and log in to see the error.
Thanks!

In reply to: How do I dynamically hyperlink words in my post?OK, this is the old manual way, but it would work if you have to use it and don’t have a module installed.
You could highlight the first instance of the word and use the link tab, insert the Link URL in the pop-up box, then hit insert. Now goto the html source editor (I like to mark the word wrap option) and find the code for the first instance of the word you just linked and highlight it,
< a href=”http://www.expedia.com”>travel < /a>
then right click and use copy and then go paste it in each subsequence instance where the word appears(deleting the non-linked word such as “travel”. Then hit update and in the WYSIWYG editor all instances of the word are linked showing in blue etc…
