Thank you for your reply catacaustic. This confirms what I thought would be the best way of setting up our blog ie. to have it installed in a subfolder on the main site – this way all the SEO juice stays in one place and is not ‘shared’. Is this doable though? I mean, can I install wordpress blog on a non-wordpress site?

Thanks 2by2host. Will that have the same SEO ‘powers’ beneficial to the main site as having a stand alone main wordpress site with a blog on it?
